WELLNESS
Healthy Living
Here are a few common recommendations for maintaining a healthy lifestyle. These recommendations are only a few of many that can be used to live a healthier life.

First, a nutritious and well balanced meal plan is by far, one of the most important practices a person can implement to contribute to a healthy lifestyle. Eliminating unhealthy foods such as snacks, sugary drinks works wonders. Remember, lean more toward more protein and fiber while lessening fat and sugar intake. Choose natural foods (fresh fruits, leafy vegetables, nuts) instead of processed foods. Monitoring your weight on a daily basis is crucial. Set goals and a plan to reach those weight goals. Staying hydrated regularly helps in so many ways. Drinking enough water supports the overall function of the body. It assists in maintaining your body's temperature, lubricates the joints and mucous membranes, supports the digestive system, etc. Water also provides our body important nutrients we need from day to day. Pay attention to your nutrient intake and be sure that you provide your body sufficient amount of each. Exercising regularly is extra important. Keep moving to keep moving!

We are what we eat. You can eat healthy and good at the same time. Whether in the comfort of your own home or while traveling the world, treat yourself to fine dining. You work hard. You deserve it. Enjoy an occasional lambchop or two, premier bison filet mignon, or whatever your favorite dish is. Keep in mind; this is NOT an excuse or reason to exceed your budget. Proper financial management is STILL priority. Most important; never neglect food for your soul. Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceeds out of the mouth of God. Matthew 4:4 Enjoy!
